Over the years, we read in the paper 'trade target X' had a meeting with Bulldogs Coach Y, Captain Z and a small group of players before making a decision on which club they would nominate.
Is our current Welcoming Party the best or most exciting we've had to convince free agents or trade targets to nominate us: Bevo, Bonts, Naughton, Treloar, Baz & Jamarra (with many All Australians, Norm Smith players on top of that, and guys on the cusp like English) (and on top of 2 years of playing finals while adding Keath, Bruce, Treloar, Martin, Hannan, Jamarra etc which only makes us stronger).
We've had some good welcoming parties before with some club heroes, but this looks like a very exciting group to sit down with.
