Watched tonight's post match after the Pies dispatched the navy blue filth.
Adams of the Pies was saying he was looking forward to returning to the Gabba to play the Lions. He really enjoyed playing there during last year's hubs. "A great place to play footy" he said.
Maybe other non QLD teams and players feel the same way?

Considering they were top 2 H&A last year even when everyone was playing there every week but failed to make the GF I would say no

It's possible, the upside for GC and Brisbane is that some players now might look forward to a move North

I've never really considered the Lions to have a big home ground advantage.
It's an interesting concept though as a lot of players got used to playing out there last year.
They got smashed by the Swans last week so should be an interesting year for a team that probably over performed last year
If they are second to the footy like they were against Sydney they have.
Brisbane played like a team that was just expecting it to happen last week. I'm actually not a fan of the recruitment of Daniher or (for that matter) of Hipwood. When they are at their best they are both playing that hit up to the wings, wheel onto the left style footy...With big Oscar last year, even though he wasn't a great 'forward' at least he provided a great reference point for the ball to be kicked to.
I have seen that Charlie Cameron face before...he looked like a player unhappy with his role last week and I don't think that is going to end well...unless he gets some time to play out of the goal-square. Balancing making the player happy versus playing the structure the coaches want is going to be an interesting watching brief.
