Tend to agree, was just looking at the ladder and really only GWS strike me as a team currently outside the 8 who can get it. I suspect they'll beat WCE this week in Sydney and at worst stay within a game of the top 8, but history suggests there's never really more than 1 change to the top 8 in the second half of the season.

Lions had all the answers last night and should have won by more. Matheson spiced things up a bit and got in their faces - Richmond haven had that done to them for a while and looked nonplussed.

Nice to see someone give it back to the Tigers, the entire side including the coach have become insufferable.

The Lions look very good have to say.
Really want to stay in the top 2 to avoid them in a qualifying final away. (extreme crystal balling).

Tigers not done by any measure yet ... but 5-5 means that they can't lose too many more games and make the top four.

They can't give the excuse of injury because Lions mentioned they had 5 to 6 out that were best 22 as well.
I agree on the insufferable comment, they have become arrogant smart arses. I hope we aren't like that when we win the next three premierships :D

Absolutely, and I particularly can’t stomach to complete arrogance of Hardwick. Can’t stand him.
However, I think from round 7, Richmond and Melbourne had the easiest draws of all clubs to come.

So far since round 7 they are 1-2, with the win last week being the ‘pulled from their backside‘ GWS win.
Their run home features:
WC in Perth
Lions again (at the G)
Geelong
Freo in Perth
GWS in Sydney
All five of these games are games that (on form right now) I would put them down for a loss.
Then there are some awkward games against teams they should beat in Essendon, Collingwood and the Saints. I can even see Adelaide next week being more of a problem than it should be.
I think they will limp to 12 wins and either finish 9th, or sneak in and destroy the poor team that finishes in 5th.

Yeah, we finish 5th and we play them at the G in the elimination lol

Is that the same foetal position you may have been in when we flew to Perth to play a red hot Eagles in an elimination final?
Honestly I know they mentally beat us a few weeks back, but in the fullness of the season I expect to hold no fears of any team.

GC absolutely buttering their set shots against a very flat Geelong. How nice it would be for GC to pull off a fluke. King missed from 20 metres directly in front for Geel to go down and bang, bang in the 2nd.

With just a bit of luck with GC this might be a vastly closer game.
Lets hope they knock them off

Crows played well mate. Just one of those games when a young team got a sniff and stole one. It was a great game to watch.

Good result all round with GWS winning. Keeps Richmond out of the 8 and makes it harder for WC to get near a home final.

Port aren't doing too well today either, glad that we got to play them in Adelaide so that we got a chance to see where we're at instead of how mentally fragile they are away from Adelaide.

Collingwood lose by a point, media circus going to start questioning Buck's coaching career now.
I am really enjoying watching Treloar play.
Even if his injured, Collingwood are still paying for it.
