Wowsers...
I mean, I don't look at the site during the game but holy hell...I was on maybe 2-hours before bounce-down, watched us smash the power, got up, went to work at 7am (WA time) and have just finished now...
It sure is a great time to be a Dogs supporter!

Which makes me laugh as it is a thread I pretty much never contribute to - well, maybe the next day I guess if I have some time to read back...today's post is 38 pages - I think I have read page #38 and that will be it!

During the game I log into the game day thread at the breaks, but don't read other posts. Maybe make one comment.
jeemak caught me out and was surprised

Nothings get the collective engaged than exciting, winning football. This may be the best Bulldogs side in my 36 years.

What were the post counts like after the Richmond loss?

What were the post counts like after the Richmond loss?
Just about every day during the season we have between 90 and 105 people logging onto the site.
We had 461 posts on the day of the Richmond loss which was around the same number the the previous weeks win against GWS (479).
We really need another 20 members who contribute with a bit of activity

If I watch the game on the tv I post a lot in the match day thread. When relegated to tablet or phone use i just sit and watch

Same here. The match day thread is cathartic and should be viewed as such for anyone reading back once the game is over.

It was an interstate game, does that generally lend itself to a more active game day thread?

Good question, not sure if it means much or not but perhaps something to check
North GF AG 454 contributions
Lions HG but at Ballarat 273 contributions
Suns HG just 322 contributions
GWS AG 480 contributions

I read the match day thread after watching the game.
It's fun reading the ebbs and flows when it's a good outcome.

You’ll notice the Suns and Lions HGs were not free-to-air games which would also impact the contributions.
I’m generally on the Western Bulldogs discord when it’s game day, a lot easier to chat in real time with others about the game.
If anyone wants a link, hit me up in PM. For those not in the know, discord is just a live chat program you can use on your phone/computer.
glad to see WOOF so busy, admins deserve all the accolades for running this wonderful forum.
