More interested if our R.18 game vs GCS is at Ballarat and not up at GCS.
No travel for us and make a little spending money from food and drink. And a good hit out as we play there the next week vs Adelaide.

Move Round 18 to Whitten Oval.
We’ve been on about this ever since Bains got to the club and this is a golden opportunity.

This is what I’m hoping.

There’s literally 1 toilet there and it’s blocked half the time.

This is surely an easy workaround. We don’t need infrastructure forever just for one game.
Would it really significantly outdraw all of the AFLW games to the point of not being viable?

They have porterloos at AFLW. I think the bigger issue is thee amount of standing/seating on grass and tackling that re: covid safety.
As much as I love the idea of a WO game, would pay heaps, Ballarat is the logical option. Suns would get to decided anyway and more coin there (and guarantee of a hot shower).
Would Ballarat be able to take a game this weekend? Crows v Lions looking the odd one out.

The Suns will want to play us at as neutral a venue as possible, no way would they agree to Whitten Oval or Ballarat. My money would be on Geelong or Tassie (if available).

Please not Geelong

I think the Suns will do whatever AFL says here. Not worth it. But yeah, WO not a good choice for them anyway.

It's sounding like Crows v Lions will be here. 7 degrees and pissing down all week end, might be the first game ever played in Kathmandu jackets.

The likely destination for this one will be ABC stadium. Cats stand to cash in big time the longer lockdowns continue.

Didn't seem to matter back in the 70's, we still went there anyway.

QLD is quite likely to be fully open again by then. I’m hoping it’s at Metricon so I can see us at least once this season!

We don't want the Crows to acclimatise!

So you're saying that timing is the key?

Suns might be willing to play at MCG. Not our home ground and they get great experience on the 'G that might struggle to get otherwise.

We can always use more experience there too!

I would've thought games will be back on in QLD by the time we play them. Except for Brisbane, they're out of lockdown and Brisbane will be tomorrow.

Yeah, GC is back. This looks like only being a NSW issue (for the time being) in the next couple of days.

Adelaide v Brisbane is at AO tomorrow. Suns would have been able to play the game at Metricon if it were tomorrow as well (good move relocating it though risk wise).
GWS v Suns at Mars, might literally have the same crowd if actually on Mars.
Lions v Saints at Metricon perhaps if Brisbane still out.
