Good you’ve got Bont in the votes. Bont’s work in defence was important tonight. If he had of kicked those 2 goals he’d be in everyone’s votes. I bet when I watch replay I’ll admire a good captain’s game.

4 - Taylor Duryea. Charlie had 3...then Doc went to him...and he got no more.
3 - Bailey Smith - If you have 9 possessions and 2 goals in the last quarter of a 1-point final, well...you get 3 votes.
2 - Jack Macrae - Just kept getting the ball. Incredibly prolific player.
1 - Caleb Daniel - Amazing footballer. Stories of his injury were greatly exaggerated (based on watching the game, probs not based on how it feels to him).

Special mention to Naughton who was seemingly involved in every scoring chain even if that was just through jumping at the footy and bringing it to ground.

Just watched replay-the obvious players are already reflected in most votes (Smith, Macrae, Daniel, Keath, Duryea, Bont, Libba) but gee Dunks, Hunter, Williams, Dale & I think particularly Naughton were good too. Naughton’s ability to make 2nd & 3rd efforts is immense and he did this the whole match.

Agree with all of it particularly the Naughton bit. I added a mention for him but couldn't get him into the top 4...I thought Duryea and Smith were unassailable top 2 and Macrae was amazing...from there it was Caleb or Aaron and I went Caleb...

Another brilliant effort with great contributors
Top votes to Jack Macrae (137 of possible 144) who was superb including a clutch goal. Bailey Smith (88) with 3 goals and a brilliant final quarter was runner up from the superbly skilled Caleb Daniel (57) and the backline general Alex Keath (31). Close up was Taylor Duryea (20) from Bont (12), Libba (7), with Tim English (3), Josh Dunkley (3) and Lachie Hunter (2) also getting votes.
