Who wins tonight?

The Bont must be odds on to win. Who else is in the frame - Macrae, Daniel?

I thought Duryea was excellent this year -perhaps a Smokey for 3rd place? Otherwise I agree with Ozza and Bad’s predictions.

Coaches award to Doc. Lippa sitting in background. Would have been interesting if Bevo had given award to him.

As Josie said, he has done well this year. Really controls the backline.

To be honest, I am only interested in what Bevo has to say.

Probably not fair to dissect everything yet but I want to glean what sought of mindset both he and the group of players have going forward.

Still, they need to enjoy their time-off now (as much as one can in Lockdown). Aside from the NSW teams, I think the Bullies spent the most time out of their homes this season and probably the most under Strict quarantine (if one includes the stints they had to do before the WA games during the season). Also, in our bye week, there was a lockdown, preventing any chance of a break.

I was glad Bont thanked Mitch Wallis for his leadership and support. It was a nice touch in his acceptance speech.

By the end of his career the Best and Fairest may be renamed the Marcus Bontempelli Award.

Watched most of presentation. Well done club, our players are impressive young men well lead by our club executives and coaches. Nice that Darcy mentioned AFLW and our undefeated VFL side with average winning margin over 40 points and our list still young. We’ve got a bright future. Let’s hope we even go one better next year. Club strikes me as a very inclusive one and that sure helps with our wishes for sustained success.

Yeah - Libba did too. Two thoughtful and mature players for sure.

Congrats to all the award winners tonight and the mighty Bont on winning another Sutton medal. We have a strong group - have a break now then refocus again in pre-season season for 2022 hoping to go one better.

Now that Charlie is out of the way will we do our delistings?
Free Agency starts Friday is a delisted player a free agent?

I reckon there's probably a fair bit more Charlie to get through this evening before that all kicks off.

So Bont just snuck home.

Jack Macrae came home like Super Impose used to back in the late '80s.

Here comes Super!
