Yeah, I checked back and he out reached Cordy for one of his goals. Another goal as I mentioned above he just took a stroll and no one went with him. I need to check the other two.
Edit: Out reached Cordy again in 3rd quarter and there was another where he lead and Cordy was behind.
So two of four he outreached everyone.
He was the difference.

Cordy never plays on his man anyway, so he’s never gonna spoil Lobb, or rarely any opponent he’s on.

Interesting tactical change for this game I noticed was Macrae had his centre bounce attendance percentage dramatically reduced.
He only attended 10/28 (35 %)
Previous weeks :
Cats 20/26 (77%)
Dees 23/35 (65%)
Aints 17/23 (74%)
Were we trying to dodge a tag? Or was it to get more speed through?
Smith went in 17 times.
Mesa confused.

Macrae wasn't being effective in the centre, so Bevo changed it up

He attended all 10 in the first half.
0 in the second half.
Pretty big move considering we were leading the clearances 18 to 17.

McCrae is our equal highest for centre clearances at 54 (with Libba) and is ranked number seven in the league for that stat. The top seven includes Neale, Cripps, Miller and Oliver. For stoppage clearances Macrae is ranked sixth in the league (Libba is 4th). Macrae is ranked elite for total clearances in the AFL stats.
For whatever reason he hasn't been at his usual output and reliability in the last few weeks.
