Wow. It felt like an open game with hectic ball movement from one end to the other but no one could kick goals. So many skill errors. Crazy finish.

Yes. But he was all over the place, not sure it came out how he wanted to. He was clearly upset.

Did not watch whole game but liked look of Logue and especially Young from Freo. Young is a clever and skilful from what I saw. Logue reasonably mobile for a tall plus a bit of ruck work which Bevo would love.

Logue is not a forward nor is he a ruckman.

Only 14 goals, surely we need to remove tackling that’s just awful footy. (I loved it).

Fremantle - the resistible force
Richmond - the movable object
Worst game of footy I have seen in years (since the infamous St Kilda v Sydney 8.8.56 all draw) a draw was the perfect result.

I bet a few fans are upset by it. But you're right probably just his attempt to console himself for taking too long to kick at goal earlier.

I really hope our season is still alive by the time we play them in a few weeks because they’re a perfect match up for us. I think our game style has the fire power to work through their whole ground defence and they don’t have the forwards to expose us in defence (especially after Rory Lobb rips off his jumper to reveal an NWO Black and White t-shirt early in the game).

Aints. They are horrid.
I don’t mind Freo and the way they play. Brilliant structure, total team commitment and always in games.
I like great defensive strategy. The Tigers pushed all their forwards up last night but half the players didn’t get the memo and kept kicking it over them to the Dockers trap. Freo’s pressure forced a lot of it too. I really like Alex Pearce for them.

Collingwood riding their luck in the last 3 games against average opposition. Coming from behind in all games in the last qtr.
Winning 9 games in a row is a fair effort. Still don’t think they are serious contenders but good luck to them.

Pies have now won the last four games, all against teams who are not in the top eight by a combined 21 points. The largest win by 7 points and they were almost five goals down at 3/4 time in that game.
Since we demolished them. They have won nine in a row. Five of those wins are under a goal. Seven of those wins are under two goals. I have never ever seen anything like it. MADNESS.

Bomber Blitz in meltdown. Supporters apoplectic with rage and deservedly so. Umpiring very ordinary. However, they had their chance (Jones, poor kid) and blew it. Then the coast to coast goal was unforgivable.
Essendon went into a coma with 40 secs left on the clock.

Zero defensive pressure for that kick in. They had no numbers in defensive positions. How can that happen? (BTW. After the holding ball decision, the Collingwood player kicked it away. It should have been a 50m penalty.)

How was it not 50 to Jones? The Collingwood player kicked it away 2-3 secs after the free kick was paid... just a brain fart from Stevic.
The bigger brain fart was from the Essendon players who forgot set up for a point which allowed Coll to move the ball coast to coast with ease.
