Since he has moved to the backline, has really become a a vital cog and best 22.

A dangerous forward and now a brilliant attacking defender who can still hit the scoreboard.
Plenty to like about him.

He has really developed into a well rounded footballer and important player in our team. Exceptionally good with the footy in hand and in motion.

He’s become a great defender but my favourite thing about him is still when he gets it within 55m of goal. Might as well not even bother with the kick and just take it straight back to the centre.

Love him!

Some of his kicking is ridiculous. You see him hit a postage stamp from 60mtrs while others can’t hit a team mate drink 20. He’s so good to watch and should play 150 more elite games.

Gun.

My fave player. Elite kick and the only hiccup I see in his game is that his one on one body work is a little weak, but how I love seeing him run to the 50 with the goal sticks in sight.

Bailey Dale as a forward had mixed form, as a back he has deservedly become All-Australian and his kicking is AFL top 5%. Congratulations Bailey.

Has there ever been such a huge improvement in a player over a short period with a position change. He was a inconsistent forward that was in and out of the team. Moved down back to a position he had never played and maked All Australian. What's even better that he's backing it up this year.

Love him. He is up the with Gilbee, Murphy, Grant and Bontempelli (to name a few) as our best ever field kicks.

Congratulations Daley Bale

Congratulations on 100 games. I just love to watch him kick the footy he has one of the best kicking techniques I've ever seen . I think that he converted something like 15 consecutive shots from outside 50 without missing one until earlier this season which is an insane strike rate from downtown.

Really become a very good player for us Bailey from that backline. Congrats on 100 games and hopefully we get a great performance and win.

I saw a great tweet on Friday night, around half time when Bailey had made a few errors by biting off too much:

"Bailey Dale has gone mad with power"

Generally he hits them, but it can frustrate me when he goes for the 5% kick when there are some safe but effective options. Did it a few times on Friday night.

His transformation has still been unbelievable and I see him being in the AA squad again (although probably not in the final team at this stage).

He will make it after we win six of our next eight.

I know what you mean, but we have to live with the mistakes - he bites off more than most and when it works it really opens up the ground.

What it does highlight is that when he isn't creating, we can look out of ideas.

Agree. This is one of his strengths- creating something from nothing. Like any great players they push the limit and are prone to make an error or two. That is the beauty of his game. Like Gilbee in the past he is a key facilitator of many of our forward arrays.

For mine he is in the top 5 of our most important players. He is not the best defensive defender but he is elite as an attacking defensive option. Just a joy to watch when he has the ball in hand.

No Daniel may have put pressure on him to do too much
