View Full Version : Sydney Game: Am I obligated to keep watching??
I started work at 4am.
It's 6:12pm now.
We are getting KILLED (Swans just kicked #6).
Do I have to watch the rest of it? I'm tired and depressed enough already!

Yes.
Hannan and Treloar are in defence, you may never see this again!

Just terrible:(
The Treloar thing made me smile. I wanted to mention that one earlier this week...maybe we need to push someone BACK rather than forward/outside (wing) to get some decent balance...
Anyway - the way it's been going I'm pretty glad I kept my mouth shut.
Yes. This is character building.

I’m starting a rumour that Lachie Hunter has had a destabilising effect on the side.
Starting…..
Now.

It's not worth the headache, put on netflix or masturbate or something. Anything would be a better use of your time.

I think maybe you should pour a scotch and watch a good movie. You'll thank me later.

I'm 3 beers in on the 10 beers in the fridge. I'm going to try and finish all of them, football on in the background. I want to enjoy something this evening

Try watching it with the Benny Hill theme in the background

Yes so you can be reminded how bad we were in the 70's and 80's.

I think he had ten beers and masturbated.

I hope the answer is no. My daughter was hassling earlier in the night to watch a series that we’ve all been watching together, so at half time I said we could. Spent the 2nd half enjoying something instead. May go back and watch the second half. May just move on.

Was at the ground and it was a real effort not to leave at quarter time.

I mean doing that after ten beers probably required more sustained effort than the Dogs managed at any point

Always ...even in those VERY dark days...have stayed to the end. Always will unfortunately.

I watched the first quarter and despite the state of the game I wanted to continue watching. Wife and i started arguing about other matters with the game on in the background. So i just turned it off as it was not being very helpful toward constructive discussions.

Been following this club since the 1970s...if I haven't built character by now I never will.

I’ve come more around to the Marie Kondo school. If something doesn’t spark joy, get rid of it.
(I’m kidding somewhat, I rarely leave a game early, but having my family avoid me while I watch us spiral down the drain, didn’t seem a very useful way to use my hours after half time)

On you FD. There are some things more important than footy (not many though!). Hope you amicably worked things out.

We handle anything life throws at us, the Bulldogs have made us bullet proof.

x 2…. Lucky none of the Swams supporters actually watch the game otherwise it would’ve been much worse.
A truly pathetic effort.
