So I logged on to the forum for the first time in a long time about 10 minutes ago. A quick history search showed that I haven't posted in about 18 months, and that post was about Dani Laidley's return to Arden Street.

To be honest, I didn't see myself coming back, it's been a pretty shitty two years for me.

And yet, seeing Marra rise in triumph tonight the way he did, after the horrors he experienced 5 nights ago, has left me filled with so much joy that I could think of no other place I'd rather come and share it.

It's nights like tonight that show the futility that exists in the prevailing racist attitudes of those few, and yet still far too many, small minded individuals that still cling to their existence in our society.

Last week could have broken the man. It didn't. Tonight has made the man.

Come, friends, and share my joy.

Missed you - please stay

Jamarra was on fire tonight with a bit of agro as well. He chased he tackled he went for that ball and 5 goals was well deserved

A beautiful post to return with. Thank you for expressing so eloquently what Marra’s performance meant in ways well beyond his five goals.

Great photo.

Look at the chest puff from Naughts. Also love Treloar leaning into Neale. Intent was there early.
