Turtle moving interstate, or changing jobs, or retiring maybe?

Bulldogs? legend and football Hall of Famer Chris Grant is looking to punt his lavish waterfront Williamstown pad with a potentially record-breaking price tag.

The 15 The Strand property has been listed with a lofty $8m-$8.8m asking price ? about five times higher than the suburb?s current $1.62m median house price.

If it sells within the range, it could also trump Williamstown?s current $7.35m house price record set by the 2021 sale of 1/33 The Strand, per property records.

Saw that. Yeah not sure to be honest.

Great streets The Strand and Esplanade in Williamstown. Land now they’re worth a couple million.

Easty, don't take this sitting down.

BT has clearly treaded on your toes and entered into your domain.

One word - NETS.

Can he take my spot and do Jeemak for me?

Actually can we all chip in and get Jeemak a tent to stay at the nets and the rest just rotate through on a roster. It would be much easier.

Plus not treading Easty’s toes- just shit stirring.

Chris got his price. Paid $4M, got the $8-8.8M asking price. Smashed the suburb record in the process. Must be a pretty happy man with $4-$4.8M tax free profit.

Good luck to him

Now how about landing us some great deals in bringing in some quality assistant coaches and other footy dept personnel.

Now the important stuff is out of the way we can get to the big returns in the footy department maybe.

Not taking that big contract from Port didn't hurt him too much in the long run.

Yes - Primary residence exemption from Capital Gains Tax.

Yep, makes you wonder about Junkley leaving for $50,000 or so. Jose Romero is selling his apartment complex for something like $10-12,000,000 from memory too. If you invest it well money won’t be a problem. I guess you have to be happy to stay where you are and look at the long run. Grant in particular over the years has had some great property returns as the gentrification of the west exploded. And well done to him for being able to stay loyal and never have to think about money again (or his kids or grand kids).

Although I suspect Bailey Smith might be altogether wealthier in retirement. He seems to laser focussed on that more than footy.

But for the risks of life long injury to give us stuff to bitch about or celebrate, they deserve every penny.

Junkley's house in Port Melbourne was up for sale a few weeks ago. Not sure if sold or still on market.
