I must admit that I have not booed to many ex bulldog players over the years, but I will continue to boo Nathan Brown this week, and I have every intnention of booing Jordan McMahon.
His comments when he left the club were not warranted. After speaking to people at thec club, it was clear that the club tried to help him as much as possible. It was also made clear that he left for bigger bucks (which I don't have a problem with) and then made out that he left for personal reasons.

Is there any point?
It's done, he's a tool, he's gone. Hopefully Cal Ward comes in for a game this week and we get to see why it's a good thing Jordy left.

I don't boo anyone (out loud anyway) especially people that played a fair bit of footy for us.
The club was probably happy that he moved on and perhaps his true reasonings were questionable but it's just not something that concerns me.
I suspect that there will be a lot of people following the booing road though.

He did us a favour leaving, we should cheer him.

Yes, I will Boo like mad if he stiff arms Big Will and smacks Lake in the mouth and especially when he backs into a pack to take a mark overhead.
Somehow, I don't think I'll need a supply of throat lozenges after the game.

A friend went to the Richmond game 2 weeks ago and spoke to jordaman, he said he still wishes he was at the doggies.
To late now buddy, we've moved onto bigger and better things, you chose to leave just like your other two mates now at Richmond.
Forget about the past, think about the present and future.
Lets go dogs.

Yes, as others have alluded I suspect I'll be too busy guffawing to boo the poor sap, but if it further riles the Tiger faithful within earshot I'll gladly boo til I can boo no more.

I won't boo simply because he is a nothing player and I cant see him damaging us.

I think booing either of them is a waste of time, they played for us, they left, we move on. Time will be the judge of their contributions.
By booing them I think it gives them amunition or helps focus them on playing well, and making their point - particularly for an egomaniac.
I learnt many years a go in battle that if a class opponent is not having a good day then you bite your toungue and keep your mouth shut. I dont like to wake sleeping giants, nor provide them with motivational material they might be lacking.

Very sensible. Only thing is, I wouldn't classify McMahon as a 'sleeping giant'. He often seems to go to sleep during a game, but he's hardly a giant. With a moustache like McMahon's the only motivational tool you would need would be your own.

Nah, whats the point?
He plays for Richmond, so in my mind, he doesn't exist.

I would laugh. They wouldn't feel it. If they did they'll find a way to punish him.

Whats the point of booing him, it will not change that he no longer plays for us. I will admit that from now on I will enjoy seeing him play bad, but the fact that he now plays for Richmond seems like a big enough punishment to me.

What's the point? When he played for us I was on his side; now he's not I'm just not that interested, I've got others to be positive about, like Callan getting nominated for his bravery. That's two nominations in 4 weeks :D:D:D:D

There's a lot of myths on the internet.
Jordy was usually a very good ball user. Sometimes he over-estimated just how good he was and tried to do too much with the ball but for the most part he is a very good kick.
He also carries the ball well and must be respected.

He was at highpoint tonight, he was nice enough to say hello, used to love having a chat with jordaman, but tonight I just said hi and kept on walking.

I decided i don't like his kicking before i went on the internet forums. Used to but when under pressure he made some terrible decisions.

Once I finish with Wallet, Brown, Bowden (don't care if he retired) I'm sure I'll find a little bit in me to boo Jordy.
I just find it amusing that the Tigers fans are clutching at those same pathetic straws that I clung to last year trying to find goodness in that downhill skier..........
They'll learn.

Very good points.
The ones I forgot to make earlier were about his reasons for leaving.
With the break up of his relationship and the presence of a very young child it is not hard to understand how he fell away for us last season and his thinking may have got somewhat confused.
I know that the same applied to several posters on this board my self included when life didn't exactly go according to plan, and how it takes some time to get the world back into perspective.
So no boos from me for Jordy, anyway he was a nice bloke, and so far we really don't miss him.

I don't think I'll boo him. I know I'll be giving him an earful if he gets close enough.
If he plays like he did last year he'll probably be our best player Sunday so there would be no reason to boo him.

Spot....what would footy be without booing past players, booing past coaches, booing umpires, yelling ball and politley clapping the bloke who is carried off on a stretcher......

No I am not going to boo him. He contributed a lot to the bulldogs, and at the end I think we just didn't find him to suit what we needed. He moved on and we have recruited a tough nut in his place, which was what we needed.

Its as simple as red, white and blue
red- he used to play good footy for the dogs I like him
white- he didn't want to be at the dogs anymore
blue-he's at Richmond now and I hate him because he's not at the dogs
Hey I hated Scott Welsh and Huddo last year now I love them, it's just the way it is for me hence my username

I boo'ed him today, there was a bloke in front of me who went for the tigers.. and he was whinging before the game started saying.. i bet the bulldogs supporters will boo Mc'mahon.
Not to mention he was bitching all game and giving everyone crap when richmond was up in the last Q.
I cheered when the siren went.. it felt like a win.. but i come to my senses quickly.
Also did anyone notice nathan brown jump around thinking they had won the game.. then he sees the score board and stops and puts his hand to his mouth. hehe felt good.

was an absolute classic. felt a bit sorry for Jordy at that moment cause I have nothing much against him. Saw him have a bit of a spat with Crossy, Hahn and Johnno was holding him back from someone at one stage...funny stuff.
NATAHAN BROWN!! So funny...his reaction was fantastic!
I laughed so much at him, he would have felt so stupid haha

Oh and has anyone ever noticed...
Jordy McMahon looks like CHRIS LILLEY!
My friend pointed it out today and I can definately see some strong resemblence there.
