The moment; the best, most courageous moment that caught your eye in tonight's game against Collingwood.
Was it the moment that told you 'we've got this' or 'we lost this one right here'? Or was it the moment that you went 'wow....that is crazy courage'
Was it a collection of moments or even one with greater significance outside of the actual games result.. the kind where you go, oh no, this is going to keep Jeemak posting til 4am the next 3 nights and see EasternWest reach some kinda of shit-posting nirvana state.

The Daicos non free. Would’ve capitalised on our run, 12 point lead and who knows.

Jones clunking the mark 25 out when they were charging, they kick a goal there and we're 6 up and they can rush it out for one last goal.

Maybe we had a win that day and he was celebrating.

I'll have to look at the replay, but outside some of the really obviously big moments there were efforts from Bont and crew just to get a hand in the way and stop the forward movement at clearance in the last that allowed us to keep pumping it our way instead of it going theirs.
Felt it was just a whole bunch of little acts that led to the big ones that really made the difference.
Can't go past McSteal's first goal though. Him kicking that after a really ill-disciplined act from one of the golden boys put a spring in the step.

This for me too. They have a habit of kicking quick goals but this stopped any momentum

McNeil. The composure. Burns Quaynor. Sells candy to Howe. Calmly slots it. Iceman.

Hopefully that and his previous one gives him confidence in his finishing.

The tap from Lobb to Darcy sealed it

Yep.
For a heavily maligned player who often fluffs his lines he show composure, poise and skill when he needed to, which he hasn?t always.
We were coming heavily at the time but it wasn?t showing on the scoreboard and needed someone to step up. Thankfully Lachie did.

For mine it was the Jones mark. They were pushing. It was a scramble kick. Not easy but if he dropped it they would have been all over us.

Defensive moment - the Jones mark.
Attacking - McNeil's 2nd goal and Darcy's smother and follow up goal.

The moment was Sam Darcy nailing Maynard.,
Career move, let alone the game.
Implications.
At the time I thought it was as maniacal as Weightman's speccy attempt (which Lobb marked).
Both unnecessary and in backline.
Driver error.
Darcy what were you thinking?
A charge with no attempt at the ball, arms to the back of Maynard's head, an irresistible force, a giraffe impacting an immovable object, Maynard of all people.
Did he line him up?
Is he nice n angry?
Sam' performance thereafter showed a lot.
We knew he will not be outmarked so has huge potential but he has more than that.

He spills that then they had two men 25 out directly in front of goal.

Mine was Lobb's smother in the 3rd. I can't remember who but someone for Collingwood had a shot on goal and Lobb managed to smother it. Since the start of the 2022 season that smother results in the ball taking an odd bounce and landing on the lap of a Collingwood (or insert any other opponent) player who scores the goal. That 1% effort by Lobb is unrewarded and we go on to lose the game. Instead that fortune that has deserted us returned and despite not feeling confident of a win at that stage I did think we were up for this game!

We bag Lobb a lot but he was involved in 3 of our last 5 goals and the smother mentioned above , he was part of the reason we won in the end.

Lobb was fine, not a great game by any stretch of the imagination, but he made a contribution and stayed on the ground despite having a bit of an injury. I hope he's good to go against Brisbane.

What about the LObb smother on the guy running into an open goal......To me that was the smother that turned the momentum in the game.
