Jones' work in the air was good, but struggle to give a key back a vote when Hipwood kicks 6 and his ball use was deplorable at times

Agree on Jones even if he did have some good moments. However with Bont, he kicked three when tagged and in an alive game that would have meant something.

He impacted most when the game was virtually junk time. He had a poor night in the middle in the 1st half on Berry when the game was won and lost. For mine it was very similar to Durham against Essendon, and he was nowhere near the votes that night. Richards coming back next week will greatly assist both he and Libba.

Do you think we should have pulled a lever with Bont other than forward? Like maybe a run with on Neale? Doesnt seem to be something coaches do nowadays. Needs a week of planning.

Yep, that was the obvious play for me. It worked so well against Daicos the week before and Neale was absolutely destroying us in the 1st half last night. We needed to clamp him and also try to hurt him the other way - he's not the most defensive oriented mid (much like Daicos)

In hindsight, too big a job for young Sanders but great experience in him that'll be repaid eventually.
Bont should've been reassigned.
