4 - Murphy - was a class above out there tonite. Worked hard, created opportunties and importantly kicked goals.
3 - Akermanis - put the controversy of the Braun incident behind him and worked his butt off. Kicked goals, tackled well and gave us a real spark out there tonight.
2 - Cooney - really set the game up in the 3rd quarter with his run and carry and work in close. Highlight had to be beating Cox in the ruck! Even in the other 3 quarters he was a consistent performer.
1 - Cross - Crossy was Crossy tonight, stepped up with West having a quiet night and got 20 odd handballs.
Pups
2 - Addison - worked hard tonight and is beginning to show signs that he is becoming comfortable at the Senior level. String in the clinches and makes every ball a contest.
1 - Hill - thought he was good without being spectacular. Linked up well and shows real composure. Should have kicked that goal in the third though!

Murphy - was his brilliant best last night.
Aker - did everything well really. His set shots from the tight angles are brilliant
Hudson - I think he beat Cox and I haven't seen that happen for quite some time. So many times he was at the bottom picking up the ball and handballing it out.
Cooney - the lad is special.
Can't believe I had to leave out Cross.
Addison - more impressed with him as the weeks go on.
Griffen - won a lot of the hard ballls in the center.

4- R Murphy - made a very bad forward structure from last week a potent one this week, he is a very important player and when he is up and going we are a much better side.
3- D Cross - was brave and clean in the middle.
2- B Hudson - his best game for us so far IMO, beat the best ruckman in the league with 23 touches and was amazing around the stoppages, laying the ball down with intent if not getting the ball into his own mits and getting the clearance. Finished with a game high 8 clearances.
1- J Akermanis - kicked some goals when we really needed him to. Getting back to his best.
James
2- D Addison - was fantastic, unrelenting and didn't cough it up in some tight situations.
1 - J Hill - wasn't particuarly good and only just ahead of Griffen who put in a shocker IMO for the second week in a row. Hill showed some signs that he is getting back to the form he showed in the first three weeks.

Its the unfortunate nature of completely sacrificing his game for the team. Compared to how Kerr ran ampant last year Boyd obviously did a super job, and would no doubt get maximum votes in the B&F from the coaching staff, but whilst as supporters we appreciate what he did we probably vote for others who were more offensive.

As much as I love this thread I've decided I can't vote in it.
I get too emotionally involved in the game and when it's over I can't remember who did what. I'm like Shelley Winters in ANY disaster movie. I need a slap across the face from Ernest Borgnine.

I used to get like that. Now at the end of each quarter I make a little mark in my footy record next to the name of the players who did well in the quarter. helps too as it's easier to recall who played well in the final term, but easy to forget who played well in the first.
