The moment; the best, most courageous moment that caught your eye in this evening's game against Geelong.
Was it the moment that told you 'we've got this' or 'we lost this one right here'? Or was it the moment that you went 'wow....that is crazy courage'

Was it a collection of moments or perhaps one you felt had greater significance outside of the actual game's result?.. Or maybe it was a downright gobshite game, with little to crow about...but you know, you're still down to get your post count up as you set your gaze towards your next 60,000 posts............. BAD.... who love's ya baby...

I think that Marra bomb to get us 29 in front. Felt too much like the door slammed shut with 10 minutes left

I was just glad it didn't end up being Naught's play on after mark which he missed and ended up down the other end of Cameron's first goal.

The moment: It was a cold, windswept Tuesday night at Whitten Oval a few weeks ago.
As the senior coaches talk about the upcoming game, a sheepish hand rises from behind the swarm of experienced AFL heads and a shaky, uncertain young voice pipes up with "maybe Rory Lobb can play in defence?"

Guffaws gave way to a certain resignation.

There was nobody else, and sillier ideas have worked. Rory was set the challenge. He accepted, and now he's just destroyed Jeremy Cameron in horrible conditions for a 207cm defender, at GMHBAXYZ stadium.

The game was well and truly won by this point, but Rory Lobb out marking JEREMY ****ING CAMERON one on one late in the last put a bloody big smile on my face.

Bramble winning the contest, composing himself on the run and hitting Naughton on the tit with an inch perfect kick into the goal square. Game over.

Marra bombing the goal in with about 10 minutes left, that slammed the gate shut and broke their spirit.

They just replayed in 3rd quarter, fwd kick to Cameron. Poulter gets a hand spoils. Drops infront of a Geelong crumber, Poulter 2nd effort gets a hand to spills the ball. Dale comes in a swoops.

If geelong kicked that, it would have been 10 points in the game.

We just managed to win those clutch time moments. The team was super competitive tonight.

The non-front on contact against English in the last. If that had have been converted like every other bloody Geelong chance it's a different complexion on the game.

That was right at the start of the last quarter. We got lucky with that, a FK for front on contact that Cameron didn't get paid, and htb against Marra on the wing that didn't get paid. But it sort of feels like we would have rallied anyway...

Buku and Lobb had 3 intercepts each in the final quarter and I felt like that was just massive.

The Bramble great piece of work and kick to Naughton

There were a lot of missed goals that could’ve been the moment. I was watching on delay for a bit and trying to back up my skipping forward 15 sec when there was an appropriate moment. When Bont marked in the 3rd I skipped forward 30 sec knowing he’d miss.

I didn’t feel we were home until Marra’s 3rd.

But I thought Buku and Lobb’s consistent interceptions were huge!

Totally. That's some next level gears that Bramble has found recently, mainly because he's really minimised the blatant mistakes.. all though he got away with one tonight when he kept a ball alive that he should've killed that should've resulted in a goal to Geelong.

Good call out comrade. That was outstanding by Bramble. The great pick up and then be able to see Naughton in the square was outstanding. There were other options - Darcy 30 metres out but he nailed it. We didn?t have the game in the bag at that stage but it was the moment I thought yep we are going to win this.

Ed Richards second goal late in the third quarter. We desperately needed a goal and he delivered when most of his teammates could not .

That wasn't the moment I knew we'd win.
That was the moment I knew we HAD to win to save the world from a toxic cloud of smugness being released as a by-product of the entire GFC football club having their heads that far up their own arse

The Poulter spoil on Cameron was the moment for me

It showed that the team was prepared to do the necessary

The Bramble pick up came just after that and the conversion by Naughton just solidified the belief in us and the doubt in them

You would have thought the cameraman would have had Cameron fix the shorts but maybe he wasn't a Geelong supporter and liked the way he looks like a dork. :)

The Bramble run and kick to Naughton's advantage, one on one.
I knew we would finish over the top of them.
We owned them.

Watching the replay...Jamarra jumping from a couple of metres back to impact Henry trying to take a mark, spilled the ball and Treloar kicked his first (which West should have marked given how close he was to the post). Really loved that intent to impact.

****ing wankers.

This is what happens when you let your egos get ahead of common sense and forget to insist on editorial control.

The photographer obviously took that unit at college: "How to make a couple of wankers look like a couple of wankers on steroids."

Weightmans tackle for me was a real turning point - didn?t give us momentum but it stopped the arm wrestle and I thought we started to dominate on the scoreboard as well
