We're playing all the interchange players in the team. Rocket wants some flexibility just in case The Swans try and pull a stunt like last weeks.

I thought we were talking about the final list of 25. Of course things can change before the game but I think that around 4pm on a Friday the team lists are finalised.

Ablett & Davis out has to favour us, even if Nick isn't in form. He's still a dangerous player capable of winning a game of football and in times gone by, it's been these types of players for Sydney that have troubled us. Micky O being the main one, of course.

Everitt is a handy in for them, it means our rucks will have to be on their game. Perhaps it's an advantage we could gain as Everitt hasn't played an AFL game this season to date. Either way, it's a big task for Hudson & Minson.

As for our inclusions, I wouldn't think we'll see any changes. Hill deserves another game purely on the basis that Ray isn't fit enough yet. He's slowed down the last couple of weeks, but it's a chance to redeem himself and with his aerial ability, it might prove handy against The Swans. For mine, if we brought in Tiller or Skipper we'd lose too much of our run for little gain. Ward's done well thus far for Williamstown, but sending him over to the SCG is probably a bit much at this stage.

Thats not sounding good, no Scott West for this weekend is a scary thought.

would anyone happen to know what is wrong with Scott West? This is the first I have heard of him being injured.

agree that we will require run against the swans, however i wouldn't want to take anybody in that is not 100% as the close hard at the stoppages could show them up. Skip could also stretch them down back??

The upside is that with the bye looming he will be 100% right after the break and ready for some of the toughest games.

I hope the coaching staff are on the same page. This is the best opportunity they may see in years to rest and refresh a team that is sitting 3rd on the ladder. not even Rocket would had imagined this.

General soreness from being bashed around a bit last week. Woosha? Would you like to add anything?

He's expected to play.

Didn't woosha give Westy merry hell in his second game of footy after kicking something like 5 goals in his first game?
The coodabeens used to mention that Woosha told the West Coast selection panel "I'm a chemist, I'm a chemist, I can fix him up" when they were trying to work out the match-up

Ablett & Davis out has to favour us,

I agree that the outs are potentially good for us, but we are a long way from deserving to be favourites in this one. I am really hoping we can do it, but this a genuine test.

I wouldn't think a long way. If the game was to be played at the Dome would the market show a different favourite?

Thats a fair call Mantis but we are becoming Dome specialists - which is nice considering how bad our first 5 odd years were there. I'd be really fascinated if they could lock us down at the dome the way they have the Kangas and the Saints. I guess they even did it to Geelong for 2 quarters also.

I think the home ground advantage is worth 4 goals to them.

On Mal Lynch whilst he may have dropped off the pace over summer I still have very high hopes for him as a player.

This is where our club/development systems are tested to get one of our youngsters back on track

I'm pretty sure Dalrymple spends a fair bit of time with the fringe players

Possibly...

Sydney have played 2 games at thh Dome this year and kept there opposition to just 6 goals & 9 goals in these games.

I don't think it matters where the game is played, it's going to be a tough game, but on form we deserve to be pretty close to being favourites.

Well then I hope the message is getting through because Lynch seemed to have all the physical attributes to be a top league footballer
