4. Cooney- 25 possies (14 contested), 6 clearances, 4 goals. -An A grade game from Cooney.
3.Johnno- 20 possies, 9 marks, 4 goals and 2 goal assists- looked to be less hampered by injury this week and it showed.
2. Boyd- 24 possies- (12 contested) 8 clearances, -very happy with his game, especially after the media attention he received for his role on Kerr last week. Glad to see it didn't impact on his game
1. Hahn- back to his bullocking best. 18 possies (9 contested), 7 marks, 5 inside 50's, and 2 goals and always real force when it's hot in a contested ground ball situation.

Apols to Murphy- his mobility was a big factor in the 2nd quarter. Callan- his best game and has solidified his spot. Guido- good 4 qtr effort and went in hard when required. Also apols to Minson 21 hitouts, 9 out of 13 possies were contested, a goal, and 5 clearances.

James

2. Griffen- not a huge impact, but his hard body in a contest forced a number of ball ups, that in previous years our team would've otherwise coughed up to the opposition. Laid 6 tackles, and his ability to run the lines is a treat to watch

1. Tiller- 2 goals, some important defensive efforts, a good effort for an inexperienced player in a big game.

Apols to Addison who I originally gave a point to... his hardness was required against Sydney and he held his own.

Good to see Tiller get amongst the James votes.

Yes DR, good way to gauge how our youngsters are going - first week in for Tiller and the majority of posters so far have given him votes.

2.Tiller, Yes Griffen played well but i just think considering it was Tillers first game back this year he did everything he could to stay there and dont think he clangered once.

1. Griffen

According to the stats, 3 of his 9 disposals were clangers. Griff didn't fair much better in that 1 of his 12 were clangers, but his efficiency rating is at 50%, compared to Tillers which was an impressive 89% (champion stats, which are usually fairly reliable). Griff had some important touches around the contests though, and at important times. Looked very dangerous around the stoppages and Sydney were very watchful - Kirk doing his best to block Griff's run when he played on the ball. FWIW, I think he is still a bit hampered from last year and isn't quite back at 100% - hence only bursts in the midfield and pretty reduced game time. He'll gradually work back into full fitness though.

Definitely can't knock Tiller's game - great to keep having blokes come in and play a good role. His defensive efforts were the most pleasing in my opinion. Great for a bigger bloke. Hopefully he can have the opportunity to string a few games together and show us what he can offer, could become a handy option this year because of his versatility.

4. Cooney - sensational today. His finishing was fantastic, his work rate around the ground awesome. Whenever we needed something more often than not it was Cooney who provided.
3. Hahn - probably our most important player for the sheer number of contested balls he creates and the fact he never gives up in a contest. 50-50 balls become 80-20 balls because of his determination to get his hands on the footy.
2. Callan - worked really hard today. Gave good run through the ground, tackled hard and was a big part of the win.
1. Johnson - welcome return to form. Not quite 100%, but worked hard today and got the rewards.

2. Griffin - thought he was really good today. His strength bursting packs and creating was great.
1. Tiller - did nothing wrong today both as a forward and a back. he slotted into the side pretty easily and did what was asked of him both with the ball and off the ball.
