The biggest joke of all

Surely if Harley is in the side he must be named captain? Judd lead a side with himself, Fevola, Nick Stevens and 3 number 1 picks to a mediocre finish. I find it amazing.

Heard on SEN that Cooney didn't attend the evening due to having the flu.

He should have gone and congratulated Ablett, Bartel, Corey, Enright, Johnson, Harley and Scarlett by giving each one a long, passionate kiss on the lips.

The biggest joke of all

Agree on Medhurst, definitely not deserving, but Fisher deserves his spot, can play key defensive roles, take plenty of marks and run heaps from defense.

Is this true:

Rievolt(ing) > Jonathan Brown?

Cannot work out Medhurst for the life of me.

Brown, Pav, Murphy, so on and so on.

Good year for sure, AA no F****** way. Token gesture to Collingwood.

Rievolt(ing) > Jonathan Brown?

It is. Saint Nick has been better than J Brown this year. Pie Paul hasn't.

I am stoked about Dale Morris getting in!!!!!

I'm not all that worried about the Medhurst over Johnson selection. I think Johnson has been down on previous years. When you set such a high standard anything less will work against him. My real problem with this team is the captain. Geelong lost one game you would think Harley should deserve it. I guess everyone loves Chris Judd except me.

I don't actually think Johnno should be in the team, all I was trying to say is that either Medhurst has had as "BAD" a year as Johnno (as a lot of people on here and in the media have said) or Johnno has had an All Australian year equivalent to Medhurst.

My Opinion on the AA team

Tom Harley not an AA,
Judd is picked on reputation,
the forward line is too big if you were picking a real team.
Jonathan Brown is better the Riewoldt at CHF and didn't even make the bench.
Mitchell from Hawthorn should have been in.

the forward line is too big if you were picking a real team.

But it's not a real team?

Perhaps the worst is Sandilands on the bench -

a) There should be no need for a backup ruckman; the team doesnt play anyone, so the bench should be for the best 4 players who dont start on the ground (i.e: MURPHY MURPHY MURPHY)

and b) if a backup is neccesary, both Petrie and Hille (not having him even in the squad is a joke) were better than him this year.

But did he have a better year?

Kicked 70 goals, and probably even on the stats with Riewoldt, however, not even named on the bench.

What do you mean the forward line is too big? 2 big power forwards (Fevola and Franklin), Medhurst/Johnson/Harvey your creative crumbing forwards and Riewoldt the big CHF. Looks pretty balanced to me.

Franklin, Fevola, Riewoldt plus Johnson isnot small at 189cm. I don't think you would pick a team like that in the real world.

Sandilands a joke.(thats Murphs spot)
Judd shouldnt be captain.
Great news 4 Coons and Morris. Thouroughly deserved.

If these four blokes were on our list, they'd be playing every week.
Remember:
- Riewoldt covers the same ground as a midfielder, hard runner.
- Franklin can crumb as well as mark
- Fevola is the best leading FF in the comp (I hate saying that but it's true)
- Johnson plays flank so would be comfortable there

Put all them in Red, White and Blue and I'd pick every week.

Oh. I feel stupid.

But he doesn't play tall as Mofra said
