5. Lake - I though he was superb in the backline. He created run, tackled hard and was defensively very solid
4. Crossy - ran and ran and ran and used the ball as well as I've seen him use it.
3. Griffin - thought he was another who played a full 4 quarter game. Possibly his finsl ball into the forward line let him down a bit, but he caused the Cat's no end of trouble.
2. Harbrow - a coming of age game? I hope so. He was good against the Cat's. 2 goals in quick succession and a willingness to back himself and run.
1. Tiller - I really though he was another who turned in a very good game. Solid defensively and matched up well against his opponents. I think he will go on to better things next year.

5 - B Lake - Again showed how good he can be, AA FB hopeful next year.
4 - R Hargrave - Another who did his job down back (on numerous opponents) and executed with precision coming out of defense.
3 - D Cross - Hard at it as ever, laid plenty of tackles and was excellent with his disposal.
2 - J Harbrow - Set the standard with his pressure + 1%ers. He is locked in the first 22 now IMO. Ignited us in that 3rd term.
1 - L Gilbee - Another great performance from Gilbs, I would conclude from this finals series and other big games during the year that he is our biggest "big game player". Just doesn't seem to feel the pressure.

Apologies to Timmy Callan, his tenacity was great to see.
