Should know something about physical fitness.

Expect our guys to post record times on the exercise bike during spells on the bench and achieve PB's at the beach during recovery sessions.
Footballers win football games not 10,000 metre runners. It's great to be able to run all day but if you haven't got or can't use the pill, what use are you. Does anyone remember Farren Ray?

I don't think skills training is part of the Physical Conditioning coach's role. Fitness definately plays a part in a team's ability to win games.

Totally agree. I was thinking more along the lines of the kind of philosophy used in previous years when it was all about athleticism and endurance. Sometimes we just have to let footballers be footballers and let them do what comes naturally to them.
Maybe I am a bit too "old school".

I've been out of the country for quite a while so I may have missed a departure. Has Cam Falloon left... or is this an additional appointment?

Thanks GVGjn, it seems to be a position with a very high churn rate. This is an area of increasing specialisation and limited candidates but that doesn't seem to explain the passing parade. Does anyone have the inside story on this?

Same story as most of the others. In this case Port offered him a big heap of cash.
