Greeting all.

I just signed up to ask about Macolm Lynch.

Malcolm is a family friend and I was wondering what chances he has of getting any game time this season?

He looked pretty promising a couple of years ago in the pre-season but has sort of dropped off the radar a bit...

He has plenty of talent but the word was that he didn't work hard enough in first off season and came back unfit. This obviously didn't go over well. He was then slowed by injuries throughout 2008 so it's very hard to gauge where he is at.
IMO, he will need a good start to the season if he is to press for a senior spot.

I think this year he should be closer to playing AFL again

I believe he started pre-season training pretty much at the end of this last season and hopefully with his improvement in fitness, he should get some games this year.

He was a little lucky to keep his spot, this year will be his last chance to impress with attitude and performances.
