Thanks TCD,

If our pups can get past the Dons, Brisbane or St Kilda will be a solid good hit out and good preparation i feel.

Care to elaborate for us?

Just how it goes for 3 weeks. I don't remember it happening last year.

I think the home games might be speculative at this stage. The final would be based on goals or something

True but if we make final, which i doubt with us playing juniors and stuff, its a 50% chance that its at Telstra.
Add that other teams have Telstra as a home ground probably makes it above 50%.
The other point being leading up to the final, no long travels.

It was supposed to be WCE v Coll in South Africa, but due to finances the AFL shelved it.

Obviously those who have access to Foxteal will watch the game next week. For those without, SEN will broadcast the game live on the radio.

SEN can be found at 1116 on the AM dial or online at www.sen.com.au

I'm not very happy with SEN.

They have broadcast Victory games all year, and then when the most important games come around, they dump them for the NAB Cup.

I know we love our footy, but they really are just glorified practice matches and SEN should be doing the A-League finals.

SEN are a commercial entity & they'll do what they think will generate more advertising revenue.

I understand that, but they also have a responsibility to their A-League listeners. Not broadcasting the A-League finals is just shiting in their faces

Does anyone know what the coverage (if any) is like in New Zealand? I'll be over there for most of the NAB cup.

For SEN? Get it on computer and you'll be fine. If on TV there may be an Australia channel that's often found on pacific Islands that may show the game but probably won't as it seems to show FTA shows from Sydney.

They said tonight that the contract they signed with the AFL 3 years ago meant they had to cover the NAB cup whether they liked it or not.

I doubt I'll have the time to sit and watch a game anyway but if I have a chance and my Bulldogs are playing I'll make sure to watch. Hopefully I can find something.

I better get my notebook fixed me thinks.
