Murph named on the bench is a bit weird.

Pretty much as expected, and Richmond's outs look good for us.

Murph named on the bench is a bit weird. .

Does that mean a last minute change?

Good to see Stack and Everitt are both close, and Callan deserves to be in the 25 based on his performance last week.

Stack must be very close to a call up. Maybe the coach names him to give him some confidence at Willi. Hope he can debut soon, maybe up in Darwin;)

Does that mean a last minute change?

Crows did the same last week with Bock and he played. Not sure it necessarily means anything, but makes you think.

Think we shouldnt push Murph too hard this week....keep him warming the bench

Hopefully his knee and hamstring are right as with Cooney I rate his as our most important player considering our forward line...and far too important to be risked against a mob like Richmond

Looking at his game against Melbourne in the 1st quarter he was electrifying...we are a different side with him in

Big loss for Richmond with Nahas out.

He's an exciting player and I think he could have caused us a few problems. Not a bad out from our perspective.

Going by our usual form in selecting teams.

Murphy probably won't play and one of the emergencies will come in.

Perhaps Stack will get his first game without a big fanfare introduction to give him nerves.

Yeah Murphy's naming on the bench is just a tad odd..

Also Tim Callan is emerg with Shaggy in doubt if anyone.

Hate the BS during the week..with the herald sun reporting Williams wont play, then Eade comes out and says Murphy and Williams will be back..

I can't see why Shaggy would be in doubt. If anyone I would think Gilbee would be the one in doubt as he didn't look at all comfortable last week. Hopefully his foot injury has improved and he has more confidence in it this week.

Yeah it gets confusing. Hopefully Tom can resume playing next week (probably at Willi) and get a couple of games in so that he is right to go after the break.

Just on triple m - Murphy out, Stack possibly in

Anyone able to confirm?

It wouldn't surprise me, Murph's only been out for around 24 days? He probably needs another week and now would be a nice opportunity to blood Stack.

It was on Ch 7 news a few minutes ago- Murphy out, Stack in.

Very interesting change.
Stack hasn't been in raging form at Willy has he?
Any other players for us at Willy who could play Murph's role likely to feel a bit miffed?

The bulldog selections are getting very typical now.
