No suprises, but still disappointing. You would suggest that if they are not going to give the three blokes on the bench a run this weekend they wont get a run at all before finals (subject to injuries). Opportunity lost?

I wish the selectors would give reasons for inclusion or exclusion of certain players; but by doing that may expose certain elements of their plans to the opposition.

I don't like the way that the selectors seem not to be reacting to what seems to us to be poor form by certain players.

The wise ones say that 'not to take a risk is the biggest risk of all'.

Maybe they have a calculated risk to keep the side together and let the out of form players play themselves back into form.

A trifle perplexing. Can only trust that they know that they are doing, and that there is some sound purpose behind it all.

If I was picking the team I would take into account the oppositions game style. We know the Eagle(s) do a ton of running so I might drop someone who has been struggling in this area.

A few posters in the know believe Wood will come in so all we can do is wait and see.

I for one would like to see Wood get a game purely because I feel he has a bit more speed & power compared to O'Keefe which will help him make the step up to senior footy.
