In amongst my post match celebrations, I heard an odd and disturbing stat about tonight's win - that it was only third time under Eade that we had come back from being behind at 3 quarter time to win.
Did I hear right? Is this correct?

Under Eade we haven't really been behind at 3/4 time that often.
We have had a few decent comebacks that just fell short and quite a few times we have been getting smashed early but hit the front before the last quarter, so it's not as bad as it sounds.

This.
Was going to ask if they presented the fact with "The Bulldogs have been behind x amount of times at 3qtr time but only won it 4 times."

All about context.
We didn't really come from behind to win since we were in front all night. Our actual comebacks may not be counted in this stat.

Apart from when they took the lead ;)

I think that under Rocket we have a 60% win/loss ratio.
No wonder we are not coming from behind often. ;)

Well if 3 points is enough of a lead for it to be a comeback.

Too right it is... I thought we were gonna blow it at that stage.

It was certainly looking a lot like the game at the Cattery last year when we played well for 3/4 then lost intensity and poise. Fortunately History did not repeat itself and we discovered the will and means to reapply ourselves.

Just had a look at this year's results and we have been leading at 3 quarter time in every game we have won except for Friday night's game.
Of the 7 losses we trailed at 3 quarter time in all of them. Interestingly, in 5 of those losses (West Coast both times, St Kilda the second time, Geelong, and Collingwood) we outscored or at least broke even with our opponents in the fourth quarter, famously coming up short in three of them (Collingwood by a point, Geelong by 2 points, and West Coast by 5 points).
What this seems to tell me is that if we are up at three quarter time we rarely lose and if we're down by a manageable margin we can pinch one or at least make it interesting.

The most shocking stat I heard on the weekend is that Eddie Betts is 22 years old.
What?

Not sure why this shocking or even relevant... Each to their own I guess.

He just looks a lot older than 22.
I was shocked to discover that fact, judging by the commentators responses so were most of them.
As for relevance, well, you know.

I'm surprised as well Furtanken.
Feels like he's been around much longer.

My Carlton mates call Eddie the 'tribal elder'.

This.

That would of made more sense wouldn't it.
But then you also need to consider the games where it was possible to come from behind.
