Say for example your computer crashed, or Ticketek's did, or you had a major electricity blackout or you slept in all day Thursday or some such nonsense like that that meant you missed out on registering for a guaranteed Grand Final ticket.

We then defeat St.Kilda & you don't have a ticket!!!

How far would you go to get one? Is there anything you wouldn't do?

I'd pay for one of those $1500+ packages and enjoy the day in style.

Watch at a pub in Richmond and run to the G if we won the game (or earlier if we were comfortably winning) and try and celebrate in the ground.

That's if they open the gates for entry once the game's over still

Would be prepared to pay 300% mark up on ebay. It's been a long time after all.

2009 AFL Premium GF ticket: $245

Being at the ground to see the Bulldogs play in the 2009 GF: Priceless.

Beg. Steal. Sell. Fight. Lie. Whatever it takes. I'm getting a ticket.

I'm setting 3 alarms for Thursday so I don't forget to register. Will pay whatever ticket price to go to see the Dogs in a Grand Final. Unlike the preliminary final - am not going, saving my money for the GF if we make it. WHAT A RIP OFF.

Suz, I know the prelim finals are expensive, but if you can afford it, even just the standard seat ($76), then I really think you should try and get there Friday night. I actually think we will get as much joy out of making the Gf, as actually winning it. We have never seen a winning prelim.

If you can get there, get there. It could be the start of an amzing week.

At this stage, Dad and I will be battling for a ticket if we make it - but there is a number of avenues we'll be trying if it happens - eg. Corporate packages (brekkie function and ticket), couple of players I know, some people that work in football. No stone will be left un-turned.

I'd try everything.

I'd be in the ballot for a Priority 2 members. If I don't get lucky there I'll try and get tickets from one of my mums colleagues who can get us tickets. If that doesn't work I'll try ebay. If ebay doesn't work out I'll try and find one of those expensive packages. If that doesn't work I'll try and sneak in or get a job as a record boy.

I've got my tickets already. So i'm hoping like hell the dogs make it in. As Aker says, i've ever seen a pre-lim win so that would be freakin amazing in and of itself. But if my tickets were stolen, i would go the corporate option with Comrade.

I have never been to a grand final. I always have said to myself, I will not go to one unless the Doggies are playing.

I went to everyone from 1991 to 1997 and then again in 2002.

After the 2002 one I vowed to never go again unless the dogs were playing.

1997, ouch! I was put off footy for 6 months after what happened to us the previous week.

I still haven't gotten over it. Only winning a premiership will ease the pain. ;)

I'd just wait until next year when we're in it again and go then.

I won the work footy tips both this year and last year....

On top of the cash prize last year I got a double ticket to the Nth Melb Brekkie and the Grand Final.......

Pity the GF tickets have not been offered this year as it was deemed to be inappropriate due to the global economic crisis....bumma.....

Lucky I have a Social Club membership .......

Pray for a draw. Not really. Set up camp at Whitten Oval.

I would put the word out to everyone I know, surely someone would get back to me with a couple of tickets!

If I can't end up getting tickets, I lock myself in a room so nobody can distract me, and try and enjoy the game by myself.

I live in Brisbane and already have flights booked to come down to Melbourne for GF weekend. I plan to head to Whitten Oval and watch the game there.
