What # do you think Barry will get? I'll guess maybe #19, or maybe Jarred Grant will give up #1

Liam Jones has 19 and Grant changed from 24 to 1, so I cannot seem him changing again.
28 is the most likely number he will be allocated. Number 24 will most probably be saved for Wallis in 2011.

24,28,34,37 and 44 are free ATM. Jones wears 19.

Forgot about that. Lynch will have 39 for one more year then.

I'll go with #30.Interesting call.. slightly off topic, has there been any other player you can recall that has been under scrutiny to be kept on our list after getting close for a senior game on a number of occasions?
O'Keefe has been with us for only 2 years and talk is he has a number of deficiencies that may prevent him from being a good AFL player. What has changed since we drafted him?
Surely we were aware of this physical capabilities or lack of, prior to drafting him?
I know this has topic has been done to death however it has me intrigued.

Interesting call.. slightly off topic,

Lets answer that somewhere more pertinent, keep this devoted to the number Barry may wear.

Any chance of other players changing numbers thus opening up other options he might have?

Actually thinking of Baz he will probably get whatever number he chooses, i mean who is going to say no?
Lakey if he has a Brian fade maybe ?

I can see Eagle now running around the Hawkins wing saying Baz you have to catch me first!

Number 28 is currently not being used due to a recent retirement:D

11 could also be a possibility.

Possible lure of home to the Gold Coast or other.

I hope not, i'd like to see Skinny given time up forward next season, having a big forward playing along side could be just what it takes for a young tall to flourish, plus he is ahead of the other developing talls.

28 for Barry.

Rocco Jones

Another one for 44.

Hope not. btw Isn't there an unwritten rule now to hand the #3 down to a potential star of the future not that I'm saying BBBB wont be over the next 2 years ?

Call from left field, Hahn potential for trade, BBBBBH to wear number 8.

If Everitt goes 3 should go to Ward with as I stated initially 10 for Barry or 28.

I don't believe Mitch is going anywhere. During Rockets & Barry's press conference, Rocket said Barry won't effect Johnsom, Murphy, Higgins, Aker & HAHN role in forward line:) so I expect Mitchy to be there in 2010... just in my opinion

Yes that would be a fair move though I would like to try and be sure it goes to a worthy recipient if Everitt goes - maybe rest it for a year?

37 would be ok by me as I have a jumper with that number on it. Hasn't had much success so far has it?

Yeah not many that fit me tho :o

Most of the ones I get I give to the family for pressies.
I have a 25, 37, 6 [Johnno's 350th] and a match worn 3 of Granty's but that is too precious to wear. :)

LostDoggy

So we got 1,10,28,37,44 As expected numbers. Im thinking it might be No. 10. But wouldnt mind seeing him with the No.1 but the 44. Magnum is a good call.

Except it's got no respect in the AFL because special detective 38 Milney has it. I like 31 as well for the big fella. Hang your coat in a locker with a big champs name on it.

Barry isn't the type of person to start demanding this and demanding that - he is no prima donna. He is actually a really nice person off the ground.

I've got match worn jumpers or warm up tops with Hill's old #31, Harbrow's 40, Christian Macri's old #33 and Libba's #39. I've got a few more as well but I'd have to get them out to remember who's they were.

As I said before , it would fantastic if Doug Reynolds could do the jumper presentation, it would a significant and poignant presentation given how close we are to finally getting that second cup, I think it should be organized.

24 & 39 are the two available but they might be being kept for Mitch Wallis and Tom Liberatore.

39 might also be being held in case Malcolm Lynch is re-rookied.

You would think the club would keep those two numbers vacant next season in case either Tom or Mitchell want to wear their fathers number. Did Mark Hunter wear number 10?

Convenient too that number 10 may be available when Lachlan Hunter is eligible to be drafted.
