HOW WILL your team's next campaign begin?

The NAB Cup is traditionally the launching ground for the game's new generation.

On Tuesday, October 27 you can catch the 2010 NAB Cup fixture release LIVE on www.afl.com.au (http://www.afl.com.au/)

We should draw a team that takes it less seriously than we do, which will be hard to find.

I'm always interested in what way they intend to completely butcher the game each year.

They save the butchering for the normal comp these days.

The Swans maybe?

It is quite funny to watch BF and even this site go into melt down like 2009 and 2008 when we lose round one.

Butchers must at least complete an apprenticeship, the powers that be just want to create extra media attention (and the chance of seeing themselves in the paper. Again!) by inflaming the purists in their eternal pursuit of the $.

Eh, NAB cup.

The only time I don't mind when we lose is when this rubbish comes along. Hopefully a First Round loss again.

We've got bigger fish to fry in 2010.

I'd much rather rest the majority of our senior players and field a squad of fringe players/kids/rookies.

If some young players (Reid, Wood, Grant, Cordy, Roughead, Jones, Everitt, Stack etc) show something in any of these matches then it's a successful tournament. Otherwise who cares?

Injuries, sminjuries I say,
Rather they all play,
Maybe just rest a few,
Rotating through one or two,
Each week we make it through.

Well that told me Jack Schitt. Watched the Press conference with Adrian Anderson to see who the Doggies play 1st up, and got nothing!!!! all he talked about was playing games in regional victoria to help with bushfire relief and that a game would be played in Bankstown. So still none the wiser who we play..anyone know?:confused:

Forget the above, just saw we play Brisbane in Caberra

Feb 14 could tie in nicely with some annual leave.

I smell a road trip.

Wow for a business that prides itself on crowd numbers they sure know how to hide a game of football. Maybe it's their Valentine's gift to Canberra.
Anyway that's roughly the due date for No.2 so i won't be anywhere near it.
My tip is Fevola and Brown kick 14 between them on Boumann and Williams and Voss is hailed a genius until the season starts and they go 0-6 to start.

Genius!

I have the name of a great pub about 30min away from Canberra which would be worth a look in for Sunday lunch.

You could always drive back and by accident find your way to Manuka Oval.

I have been to Canberra for a pre-season game before...there was actually more there than I expected. Nice dinner afterwards in Manuka (plenty of good eats there)....its not totally un-sellable Comrade!

I don't know.
A road trip to crap place like Canberra for a NAB cup game we won't take serious, you are better reserving a good spot for the intraclub.

LostDoggy

Great playing in Canberra. Hope the intraclub ones are in regional centres in the north of the state, haven't had one up this way for quite a while now.

Hey thanks TCD looks like my avatar worked after all, had to send it to myself and shrink it and then use option 2 but couldn't tell if it worked or not till I just tried it out.

I'll be happy with either Bendigo, Shepparton or Yea(bush fires support game).
