Thanks for the photo GVGjr. I really wanted to go and have a look, but couldn't.
I can see Lynch, O'Shea and maybe Shaw. But is that O'Keefe there as well?

Henry White is also there, and I think I can spot Pat Rose's noggin. Boumann is near the back :)
Who's the player closest to camera holding a yellow footy?

I should stress that I didn't take the picture but it was emailed to me so I thought I should share.

Rose is handballing with Cooney. That tattoo on Cooney leg looks ridiculous.

It looks to be one of the all time worst tattoos - what on earth was he thinking?

Gia?
I think you're right. The guys who had some clean up surgery must be training with the young guys (Gia, Coon etc)
Speaking of Cooney - one strange cat.

I said much the same on his wedding attire... apparently he's an individual...

Is that Ayce Cordy about 3 players in handballing the red sherrin? If so he doesn't look as thin as first thought.

Cordy's legs are close together meaning his back leg is obscured in this photo. The leg you are refering to is someone elses.
A question to anyone who went, did it look like Grant, Cordy and Boumann have put on a bit of beef since the end of their seasons?

Leg tattoo's are never a good look.
It's funny that they are all trying to be individuals by doing something a very large amount of people have already done.
Grant looks a little bigger in the arms in that picture, although they all have a long summer ahead of them before we can judge any results of how hard they worked.
Not really sure about the new training kit either. So Far the old Diadora stuff looked better than any of the Kooga gear i've seen.

Great photo's, we can get a better look at Coon's tatt, as well as Tillers new ink work, and Wardy's coming along very well, arms are really bulking up.

Some good pics of training... Ward has muscled up, by the look of things. Tiller's tatt I'm not that fond of, likewise Coons' new ink. Those shots in silhouette look cool, especially the handball one.
KooGa gear looks good, IMO...

Yeah, I must say I'm not too fussed one way or the other with their ink work.
It does make our nice, innocent looking squad seem a bit meaner and tougher though. :D
Thanks for the links to the pictures.

By the way we have a young bloke named Eddie training with us at the moment and he is hoping to be added to the team as a rookie. He comes from a basketball background.
Sorry but I don't know any more than that.

Is Eddie his first name, or surname? At a guess he could be added under the '3 years, no registration' rule - does this sit outside of the standard rookie list cap?

Bloody hell - you'd think the message would sink in after getting dropped during finals. Pair him up with Dale Morris throughout pre-season and make him hurt.
On a positive note, if he's a bit chunky, maybe he can convert it to muscle so he won't get ragdolled as much in 2010.

I wouldn't want to be too harsh on the guy, because you imagine he would've ended the year very flat after being dumped. Hopefully he can really bust his ass until Christmas and get back into realising his aerobic capacity, and also back into the good books.

On a positive note hasn't Coons rocked up a bit chunky a few times, so maybe it isn't the be and end all. But still...look at the work ethic of the guys he's surrounded with. You cant help but be a bit disappointed.

He's a professional footballer who was already on the fringe due to a lack of physical commitment in a cut-throat final. Coming back in terrible shape is only going to p*** Rocket off and make it harder for Josh to get back in the team.
I hope he enjoyed letting himself go, because I'm sure he'll be ridden pretty hard for the next couple of months.

Geez, that's a long way up to swoop down for those ground balls, stop growing up, and start growing sideways young Ayce..:p

Problem being the club can't push him too hard with the weights till he stops growing.

Yep, he'll completely wreck his back if he goes too hard too soon. He should still be able to work to a pretty solid program though.

I'm not disagreeing with you, it certainly doesn't bode well for him - but he has got time to put in the hard yards and make amends. Hopefully he can do that. We certainly don't want to break him down and crush him and kill off any confidence he has left.

I believe it was it Ward who Eade was unhappy with last year for tuning up in bad condition to start the year so Hill could still work hard and have a great year in 2010 even if he's looking slack now. Though I'd say it's less likely based on their apparent attitudes.

That's why there's a pre-season - to get fit. Its simple, if he's not in nik before R1 then sure come down hard on him. Until then its early days...
