Obviously a stop gap because their stocks are so depleted, but good luck to Wayde, who always tried his hardest.
Apologies if a thread has already been started.

I'm pretty happy to see him get a go somewhere else and hope he is successful. (apart from when they play us of course) There are constant people ragging on him on Bulldogs forums but I give him so much credit for last season. He worked his butt off this year and never put his head down despite not getting a game at AFL level. Hard work has paid off. Well done Skip!

Well done to Skip.
You'd think he'll play a few games for the Hawks too. Their ruck division is poor and Skip is perhaps a better option than Taylor already.

I wish him nothing but good luck and hope he plays plenty of games for the sqwarks.
Any one who will have to deal with or at least be nice to Kennett needs all the help he can get.

All the best to Skipper, amazing he has been able to make a 10 year career out of AFL considering the actual output.

Good luck to SKipper, glad his career will continue after really working his butt of this year. I think he will fit in OK in the Dawks side too, as rucking has always been their weakness.

Good luck to the lad, was close to the best player in the VFL last year and was unfortunate not to be rewarded with a senior game. Hopefully he can break into the Hawks 22.

Go Skip!! I hope he can crack a regular game, and I feel he will. I just don't want him to have a blinder against us.. Ouch!!!!

All credit to Skip for sticking at it and being as professional as he was when stuck behind two other ruckmen

Yep, well done to Skipper.
Besides perhaps not having as much natural talent and size as some of his contemporaries, his willingness to work hard and battle against the odds could never be questioned. Good reward for his efforts.

It's great to hear that he has been given a second chance. I always did have a bit of a soft spot for him and wish him all the best at the hawks.

Don't know how much this is worth, but my mum said she saw a bit, and he did OK...

Depends -- is your mum Mike Sheahan? Then no, her opinion is not worth a damn.
If her name was Emma Quayle, on the other hand...

To all concerned: No, my mum isn't Mike Sheahan. Her opinion, worth slightly more than a damn (c'mon, it's my mum, I've gotta say that!) still may have some merit. Emma Quayle she's not, she doesn't quite have the football nous Ms Quayle seems to have - and she's ever so slightly older! :)

Whoa Simon Taylor was stretchered off with an ankle injury in the Nab Challenge game against North.
Skip might have landed at the right club with a possibility of a lot of game time coming his way. Might have to drop him in the dreamteam.

As much as I don't like injuries to any player - no matter what team, I for 1 am hoping that Skip gets plenty of game time.
Go Skip (just not against us pls)

Latest news is Taylor has a broken leg and will face 4 months on the side lines, it's almost certain that Skipper will be elevated off the rookie list.

Fair chance Skip will play against his old Club in Rd 3. I loved his work for Willy last year, but I think we'll see why he didn't get a look in when Huddo and Minson go to work on him.

It's time for Rocco to elevate Skip to legend status in his Ekers Hall of Fame.

Hahaha I was thinking about that. Can join Luke 'Rhino' O'Sullivan and Jayson Daniels.

I forward a motion that when ever a new member is included in the Hall of Fame, they must be awarded a Rhino (the Eker equivelent of an Oscar).

Grand idea but I think I may give the Rhino to the Eker of the year.

Yep, that works. Looking forward to seeing a photoshop mock up of the prestigious award.
Out for 2 months with a knee injury, unlucky timing with an upgrade beckoning.
