BARRY Hall has long been linked to a career in boxing after football, but yesterday it looked like he had already been in the ring.
The big forward was sporting a black eye at training, courtesy of a late spoil from Western Bulldogs' rookie James Mulligan during spirited match practice on Tuesday.
"Mulls went to spoil the ball and Bazza's marked and there was just a bit of a late punch to the head and drew a little bit of blood," Bulldogs assistant coach Peter Dean said yesterday.
"It was a pretty fearsome match practice on Tuesday. The boys were ribbing him a little bit on that."
