Barry Hall cleans up Lindsay Gilbee in the Western
Bulldogs intra-club practice match at Whitten Oval

NEW Western Bulldogs recruit Barry Hall starred in the Bulldogs' intra-club practice match this morning.

Hall kicked two goals but could have had five in the two-and-a-half quarters he played at the Whitten Oval.

The fiery forward threw his weight around, cleaning up midfielder Lindsay Gilbee with a sharp hip and shoulder after the midfielder had disposed of the ball.

3 goals, swapping teams seems to have caused the confusion.

Is it 3 or 2 goals cos he marked one 10m out which everyone had as given, took it quickly and missed.

3.1 I believe. He kicked 2 from set shots and a 3rd where he played on from a mark and ran it in.

Very pleasing performance nonetheless.

I have read elsewhere he had a cortisone injection in his iliotibial band and is still a few weeks away.
