Barry Hall has frightening news for full-backs: He's happy, fit, hungry and stronger.
Six months after being banished by Sydney, Hall said he "felt 18 again" and last Saturday's intraclub game - his first game since Round 13, last year - had reminded him just how much he loved the game.
"It was such a good thing to run around at the weekend because I could see the light at the end of the tunnel," Hall said.
"I'm toey, I can't wait, we've been doing a lot of hard training and to play some games will be nice.
"It was my first game since June or July and it was actually a little bit weird.
