Barry Hall has admitted to being shocked by his form and the hysteria it has set off at his new club.

Speaking at last night's Western Bulldogs season launch, Hall said his best-on-ground in the NAB Cup final had not been part of his grand plan when he began his career resurrection six months ago.

"It has been a bit overwhelming," Hall said.

"I never expected things to go so well so early, especially at the ripe old age of 33. It's a bit of a shock as I was just hoping to cruise in, go under the radar and swan into Round 1, but it hasn't gone that way."

Hooray @ this

While Hall, coach Rodney Eade, and to a lesser extent president David Smorgon, tried to rein in the excitement, it was difficult given the record turnout of 900 for the event.

Ironically, in the next room Carlton could only muster 300 for its jumper presentation night

I dont think its a form thing , more he is playing in a side that plays open footy and delivers well, cant see why he cant kick four goals a game at least if he doesnt get injured or misbehaves.

Apart from the good fullbacks, which are pretty rare at this time and we have the best one, teams might go the double tag and that didnt even work when the saints tried it.
