Hard to argue with the Marmo. I'd swap the James two around. Thought Higgins wasn't great and Everitt did ok.

Go Griff!

If Cooney, Griffen, Gilbee, Murphy, Lake and Cross all finish in the top half dozen this year, I have little doubt we'll finish in the top 2. Great that our important players are up and firing.

I completely disagree with Lake being in the votes. Yes he kept Franklin goalless - but not only was the delivery to Buddy appalling - but Brian gave away goals with his completely disgraceful use of the ball.

But I guess its the beauty of the forum and footy that everyone sees the game slightly differently.

That' true. Sometimes I think I've been at a different match when reading others comments. But that's what makes the world go round. We see things differently in all aspects of life.

There was one goal that Lake gave away that was due to a terrible Williams handball putting Brian under the pump with 3 hawks around him. It is a perception thing though and in this instance I didn't blame Brian at all. I guess keeping Buddy goalless again was another factor for peoples votes, as he did it last time its easier to believe 'our' player did the job rather than the delivery. And yes their delivery was shocking.

Yep, noticed the same thing this morning. Quite interesting. I guess Harbrow hasn't been quite as consistent as Higgins over the first 7 rounds, but when he has played well, has been better (if that makes any sense!).

At the start of the year I thought Higgins would waltz in, but it's going to be pretty close between he and Harbrow.

Great to see Griffen and Cooney at the top of the Marmo list too.

Thirteen players polling in Marmo, Higgins not one of them. Would've got decent odds for this at the start of the year. If we can put injury aside Shaun has been our biggest under performer against potential this season. He must find something as he's becoming a barometer to our season.

I'd say everyone assumed he would run away with the James as well...been a huge disappointment, hopefully we can attribute it all to injury.

Surprised Boyd isn't higher - good season from Cooney though, further highlights the impact of his loss

BTW Liam Jones not Picken scored the 1 vote in the James ;)
