R2 - Western Bulldogs vs Richmond

There are two awards that you can vote on, once the game is completed.

Voting closes each Tuesday at 8.00pm.

The first one is for the Joe Marmo Medal for the best players on the ground.

There are 4 votes allocated and it's a 4 for the best and of course 3, 2 and 1.

The second award is for the Ron James Medal for the best 2 pups on the ground.

2 Votes allocated - 2 being for the best pup and 1 for the runner-up
Remember the cut off age for a pup is 22 as at the 1st of January, 2010.

4. Cooney - Loved his game, won lots of the ball in the middle, always used it well.
3. Gilbee - Thought it was the best he's played for a while, got a lot and used it pretty well.
2. Cross - Did a lot of nice things and kicked a good goal.
1. Griffen - Got a bit of the ball and used it pretty well going forwards. One of his more consistent performances.

Close but apologies, Boyd, Hahn and Akermanis.

2. Everitt - Close to the best game he's played for the club I think. Took a few nice grabs, kicked a good long goal.
1. Higgins - Copped a knock but ran out the game OK. Got a lot of the ball in space and used it well most of the time. Thought he worked a bit harder today defensively but hard to always gauge defensive workrate over the TV.

2 - Griffen - 20 kicks is exactly what we want to see, was smart with his ball use
1 - Cross - Got his usual disposal tally but was unusually efficient with his use

2 - Higgins - made a few un-Higgins like mistakes, but still a good game from him
1 - Everitt - really starting to look confident and comfortable out there, one of the biggest plusses to come from the game

2. Murphy- presented across half forward all day and used it well.
1. Gilbee- some beautiful kicks today.


2. Higgins- some slick pieces of play
1. Everitt- showed some signs he could be really handy across half forward, would like to see him play there more.
