1 - Lindsay Gilbee, getting back to some very good form
James
2 - Jarrod Harbrow

4. Griffen - his run and ball use was important. Pretty much a 4 Qtr game.
3. Lake - Had Franklins measure completely, keeping him goalless.
2. Boyd, whilst Mitchell had alot of the ball -Boyd crucially had 11 clearances to Mitchells 4. Had his disposal been better I would've given him 3 or 4 points
1. Gilbee- his ball use was sublime today and he regularly got the ball to clear advantage across the back half, splicing Hawthorns zone.
Apols to Higgins who was busy but his disposal was often poor & Hall- whilst he kicked 6 the delivery to him certainly helped him
James
2. Everitt- looking more composed and confident as the season progresses.
1. Higgins- needs to use the ball better, but was still very busy.

4 - Cooney - he wasn't the most prolific out there, but by god he stepped up when we needed him and racked up some crucial clearances.
3 - Lake - Buddy is definitely his Bunny, plus 27 disposals if you don't mind.
2 - Griffen - worked very, very hard but I thought he took a while to find his composure with the ball.
1 - Hall - didn't let anything get to him and stood up in the vital last quarter to finish with 6.
2 - Higgins - really polished performance.
1 - Hill - was much better in the contested situation.

Whilst I agree his turn overs were bad, not sure Boyd was super efficent either. Quite a few kicks were poor.
Lake did a great job on Franklin.

4. Griffen - was tremendous in the second and thrid quarters - and had a great day.
3. Gilbee - thought he was faultless with the ball - and put in some timely spoils and defensive efforts.
2. Cooney - was the game breaker.
1. Murphy - was on fire early - and nearly everytime he went near it he did something very good.
Hard to leave out Higgins - who was very very good in the second half, and Cross and Boyd were good also. Plenty of good players without any outstanding player.

2. Higgins
1. Everitt ( really happy with Everitt's start to the season, he's a player).

4. Griffen [best game for a while, seems to be fitter this season]
3. Cross [thought he kept us in it in the first half]
2. Barry [finished his work off when it was needed]
1. Boyd [ just love this bloke blue collar to the boot laces]
2. Everitt [getting better]
1. Hill [thought his showed more intensity today]
Just thinking we're playing in patches and need a more consistent effort. Good sign is that we're winning. We would have dropped the bundle in past years after kicking 9 pts in a row. Apologies to Brian Lake who kept Buddy virtually kickless
