2 Cross - tough as nails.
1 Wood - really like his attack and endeavour.

2 Wood
1 Grant - close call in the RJ, but a great game nonetheless.

I did look at Harbrow and he did play extremely well, (I can only go by TV footage) so yes a bit stiff.

As I said Easton's efforts in the first half with his run and shepherding was outstanding and may challenge Grant for the rising star this week.

Really struggled to separate Griffen and Cooney.

I think if you ignore the fact the game was won in the first half than Cooney was definitely BOG IMO but I really rate the time where the game is there to be won at a much higher premium. Still I guess if everyone just shut up shop in the last half we wouldn't be nearly as pleased with the result today. Very, very hard decision, oh well Coons has enough votes anyway!

So hard to give votes this week - Murphy and Wood extremely stiff to miss, however -

4. Cooney - 4 quarter performance.
3. Griffen - scintillating in the 1st half.
2. Hudson - gave Sandilands a bath and we smashed them in the clearances.
1. Picken - thrashed Hill, kicked 2 great goals and used the ball tremendously.

RJ:
2. Wood - he's been a great find for the team - and played his best game yet.
1. Grant - 20 possies, 3 goals, 10 marks - surely he'll get a rising star nom now?

So many unlucky to miss out this week. Literally another 10 players could have a case made for them to be in the votes, led by Cross, Boyd, Hudson and Murphy. Just thought Picken's job on a very dangerous opponent was outstanding in both directions and was enough to pip the others.

James:

2 - Harbrow
1 - Wood

Very stiff on both Grant and Roughead missing out on votes in the James this week. It was a hot field to choose from.
