Solved! Feel free to delete this self-serving post or perhaps we could recycle it?

Waste not want not.

We could plant something in it?

Or donate it to the less fortunate who don't have any posts of their own.

Other suggestions?

My annual pilgrimage ... really looking forward to it too !! I haven't see the Dogs play quality opposition 'live' in a long time ... Can't wait.

I would love to meet a few "WOOFers' that are going along ... I am sitting level 1 Aisle 15.

Anyone keen for a WOOF catch up before the game ???

Last year both games at Eithad attracted 44,620 and 46,818 respectively, so yes get their early if you haven't reserved a seat.

Wow, what a rip off. There's no big deal going into the social club at Etihad. The lines to get a drink are huge! I've recently been going to the Victory Room instead!

I'm sitting Aisle 11 for this game! :D

This game and the ticket issue is a real bug bear of mine! Have an 18 game G/A and have been advised to purchase a seat. Totally ridiculous that a home team has to purchase a seat!!Our membership of 35,000 should have automatic access and the remaining G/A seats available to the G/A and Geelong members, this would not happen to any other "home" fans in any sport

You don't have to buy a seat.

The whole of level 3 is General Admission except for the 1st 6 rows.

Victory Room runs from Aisle 11 to Aisle 15.

They split it to different rooms - Social Club, Past Players, AFL Members and there is a general public area.

Great news, I'll be at the game but it's great to see C10 going live with it, especially for those supporters that can't make it the game.

The whole of level 3 is General Admission except for the 1st 6 rows.

However if you have a group of 8 going who are a mix of AFL members and club GA members you either have to get there at 6pm to get seats all tougher, or you can reserve a seat for $25 profit to Etihad corporation each!!

Exactly, it's all designed to get you to buy a seat, but if your early enough you should get one.

For those going to the game on Sat:

Etihad Stadium wishes to advise that, due to road works, Harbour Esplanade, which is on the Western side of the venue, will be closed for the upcoming Round 20 AFL matches.

The games the stadium will host this weekend include the Western Bulldogs v Geelong clash on Saturday August 14 at 7.10pm.
