I just saw the broadcast guide this week for Brisbane:
GEEL v STK - 21:30 (Ch 7)
1 hr 50 min delay
Better than the usual 4 hrs delay
FRE v HAW - 15:00 (Ch 10)
LIVE
COLL v WB - 20:30 (Ch 10)
90 min delay
Absolutely sucks
SYD v CARL - 14:00 (Ch 7)
LIVE
Why can't 10 show the Sat night game live on ONE, I hope that the new deal does something about this crap. New team in the comp next year and lead up promotion for the game is very poor by the networks.

Read in the paper that both Friday and Saturday nights will be on half hour delay. Can't believe they're not live...

I believe it's an hour's delay for Friday and Saturday nights.
Could be worse, and I can see Ch7 changing it and putting it on at midnight.

That normally only operates during the H & A season I'm told (from those living in NSW). Can you confirm that it will also be used in the finals this year as it wasn't last year?

I don't have Foxtel if that's what you are suggesting ... just have to wait for the delayed telecast

No nothing to do with foxtel,
ps.You could always go to the Ingelwood hotel and watch onn the big screen, there should be quite a few doggie supporters there watching the game.

I can't make it to the MCG.
We've just moved to the sticks (literally) and we get the Gippsland version of Southern Cross Ten. The program guide is suggesting that the game is being televised live at 7pm.
Channel Ten metro is being televised delayed at 7.30pm.
Looks like living on a mountain is finally paying off!

Mindmelding. I'll be watching the finals from inside Mitch Hahn's head -- being forward/back, a better vantage point as he can usually see the whole field, doesn't go to ground much so we have a nice upright view, and he doesn't run fast enough to make the picture unbearably wobbly.
