CONTROVERSIAL former Western Bulldog Jason Akermanis will not be invited to the club's best-and-fairest count.

The Bulldogs axed the triple premiership Brisbane Lions star late this season after a fallout with administrators, coaches and teammates.

Club president David Smorgon told SEN on Saturday Akermanis would not be at the annual count and added he had no opinion on anything he said.

I don't see the problem here ... Brisbane didn't allow Fevola to attend and he is still a current player

Non-story, exactly what I expected would happen

Snub him , f@ck him.
If he turned up and had a crack at Johnno he may end up in hospital.

The most interesting thing in that article for mine was Smorgo saying re: Harbrow "If he goes and gets lots of money, good luck to him"... El Presidente gets the claws out! :)

I got up this morning, had some toast, a coffee. I then read a bit of the paper and............
I'm sorry I misunderstood, I thought this was the thread to post stuff no one should care about?
Seriously there is a Preliminary final to win next week, this sort of stuff is chicken sh#t!

We've come this far without him...not article worthy.

I listened to this on SEN and Smorgon was pretty abrupt when they asked him about Aker and refused to elaborate.

I liked the bit when he said it was Eagles last year.

Surely we can find a table for him up the back next to the toilets. He can then have easy access to the toilet paper to wipe the $h!t that keeps coming out of his mouth.

Bugger!

What am I going to do with all those tomatos that I've had rotting away in the shed for the last month now?

This is just to keep his name in the news as his book is coming out in a few days. I bet he rang up the journos to feed them the story.

I thought you had to earn respect (on any level)? Not sure how his comments over the last few weeks have been respectful???? What is wrong with this person?

If you sack a bloke at work, you don't invite him to the christmas party.

Of course not. It's not like he's going to win anything either

Although would be glad to come up with one in his honour.

Am just a little curious if he did get an invite whether he would have the audacity to show up.

I'm pretty sure he'd tell them to shove it... he's not high on us at the moment! ;)
