Harbrow is Gold Coast bound and once Ablett makes his mind up the next topic will be who will go to GWS?!

Off the top Addison(not sure on his contract status) and Tutt (assume only got the standard 2 years) are NSW boys.
I think Everitt is out of contract end of 2011, of course this depends on what happens this trade period.

From our perspective who is out of contract at the end of next season that may be of interest to GWS?

Very hard to project but it might not necessarily have to be anyone with a NSW link.

It'll be our luck that Dylan has a breakout season and is offered big bucks by Sheedy.

I can see it now....

After a great start to 2011, GWS put forward a ripping offer and Dylan agrees to terms early in the year. He then tells every relative and their dog that he's going but will feed the Club rubbish about 'not making a decision' until the end of the season.

Once the season ends, GWS will announce his signing the day after our last game and Dylan will be quoted saying he defected "to be closer to his family".

When asked why homesickness has suddenly become an issue now, rather than during the years when he was battling away on the fringe at Willy, he stares blankly into space whilst rubbing two hundred dollar bills together.

Don't GWS get two years at trying to poach players?

He signed for three years earlier this year.

Yes. It's under the "we can't get anyone who wants to go to that shithole" rule.

Western Sydney is one the worst parts of Australia. Think of any crap area in Melbourne and make it 40 km by 50 km and you'll get the idea. GWS will have to rely on big dollars to attract anyone decent.

2nded. We really don't have a suburb that compares - perhaps Springvale merged with Dallas, add in perpetual gridlock and some extra smog. The players who play there will probably want to live 10-15 km away, which means an hour commute each way.

Yes we will lose someone.

We'll lose someone, lets just hope it's a fringe type. We should sign up one of those Fijian kids now, Sheedy would love one of them on his list. For Sheedy, different equals good.

Yes we will lose someone.

And we will lose someone the following year when they bring in free agency.

and someone the year after that ...

Free agency works both ways, it also gives us the ability to sign players.

It won't work that way.

Essendon and Collingwood will use the Anzac Day game and 80,000 h&a crowds as a draw.
SA & WA clubs will bring home those that left.

Anyone with heaps of cash prepared to offer someone a bullshit job as an environmental ambassador will take whoever they bloody well like.

May the best (salary cap) cheats win.

All clubs are working to the salary cap, we're paying to 100% of the cap when it's appropriate, why would we be at a disadvantage to any other club (excluding GC, GWS, or Sydney who have additional room)?

I think we lack the resources to provide non salary cap inducements.

I think Desi is saying that our pres does in fact have close connections with a big steel company, not verifying which company you mean ;).

Just reducing the chances of a know-it-all pointing out Smorgon Steel no longer exists.

And when one of our players becomes an ambassador for his company then Smorgo will say hi too.

Either my sarcasm meter is broken and you're taking the piss or you have just written the most naive post ever.
