On the Western Bulldogs website, there is a short clip from Bulldogs TV showing Tutt, Howard, Libba and Wallis performing the Max VO2 test.

Obviously they can't publicly give out the results but it is interesting to see just how intense these things are.

And apparently our friend Hill is supposed to have a MASSIVE tank that he didn't even know about. Now if he would only get his head around USING it, especially to get fit with, get to contests, run up and down a footy field, and blowing up his direct opponent instead of moping around looking disinterested, he may actually end up a legend instead of another wasted talent story. C'mon Joshy boy. Time to explode.

Sounds like a hair product or energy drink.

I asw that too, reckon I saw a heart rate of 197 or so on one of the boys, now that is smashing yourself.

Some really good footage.

The determination to push yourself to the absolute limit was there for all to see with Wallis especially, he got the absolute maximum out of himself and then found a bit more at the end.... A very good quality to have.

We really picked up a bargain in Mitch.

He'll be the first one to play his first game in the Dogs side next year (barring any injuries etc).

HEART!

I was very impressed when I saw that. It's pretty easy to just jump off when it gets hard but it takes a lot of heart to go that little bit more when needed. Wallis was gone and he pushed it out for another 15 - 30 seconds after that. That's an awful long time when you are at that stage.

Libba as well doesn't look like he can push himself any more than that

I have done this test myself a few times and let me tell you when your form falls to pieces like it invariably does you have already reached your max VO2. Falling face down on the treadmill being my end result once.. People show hurt on their faces differently to others. Without knowing the results it's fair to say all of the boys gave it everything.
