There are two awards that you can vote on, once the game is completed.

Voting closes each Tuesday at 8.00pm.

The first one is for the Joe Marmo Medal for the best players on the ground.

There are 4 votes allocated and it's a 4 for the best and of course 3, 2 and 1.

The second award is for the Ron James Medal for the best 2 pups on the ground.

2 Votes allocated - 2 being for the best pup and 1 for the runner-up
Remember the cut off age for a pup is 22 as at the 1st of January, 2011.

What did you think of Roughy's game?

Roughy was Ok and got a few possies as a forward option. Chased hard a few times without looking like catching anyone, but provided some pressure.
Took one very good mark but let himself down with the kick.
His ruck work needs to improve.


...and Ward was OK being hard at it but we had plenty who were better contributors. He seemed tp play forward more than normal and I guess that is caused by the abundance of inside mid contested ball types we now have.

Upon reflection, after watching the game again, I think I have overrated Callan Wards game yesterday by giving him votes yesterday, whilst hard at it in the clinches, I think I was stiff to include him at the expense of Higgins or Hill.
I considered Morris too, but thought that with the way Brisbane moved the ball into the forward 50 it really made his game alot easier for him to play his game.
