WESTERN Bulldogs full-forward Barry Hall is almost certain to miss Sunday's MCG clash with Collingwood.
Hall has been suffering from ankle soreness in recent weeks and his movement was severely restricted against Fremantle on Monday night.
Bulldogs coach Rodney Eade indicated Hall was in need of a rest and his cause will not be helped by a six-day break.
"Barry's probably more than likely not to play," Eade told Triple M.
"He jarred his ankle, which is the ankle he had operated on previously, against the Gold Coast."
Eade confirmed Hall would have missed Round 4 had the Dogs not had the bye.
