If you told me prior to the game that these 4 would be our best and we'd still win, I'd think you were having a laugh.

4. Hudson...against a pretty good ruck combo, he was critical to our win.
3. Ward...I gasp when he attacks the ball
2. Cooney...that running goal was classic Cooney
1. Wood...not only nullified a dangerous opponent but provide run out of defence
Apologies to Boyd and about half a dozen others.

Big apology to Cooney who is getting back to his brilliant best!

No disrespect intended but I'm surprised how high Williams has figured in the votes. His first half was certainly outstanding but I thought he was far less noticeable in the second half.
I think it's an indication of how much we want him to succeed.

We were under siege early on and Tom was able to stand tall until we started to win some ball which I guess is why his efforts are being rewarded with votes.
I have no doubt the deficit would have been greater than 27 pts if Tom & Easton ( and Dale & Bob) hadn't played so well early on.

Williams saved the game for us in the first half and Hudson won it for us in the 2nd.
You gave Hudson 4 votes, it's not that much of a stretch to give Williams votes too (I gave them both votes).
That said, we had plenty of players worthy of getting votes this week and someone has to miss out. Hard to be critical of anyone's votes this week.

Hmm, a good week to have some tough decisions. You know when it's easy to pick your best 4 chances are it's been a horrible game. These are a little out of left field but I'm a back man and loved the play of the back half last night.
