At whose expense? To me Vez is your lead up forward and Gia is playing his role currently.
He should have played earlier in the year when Higgins was injured and out of form.
Forward line is working a lot better now, so I'd be hesitant to change it.

Interesting they'd tell the world he had a broken thumb yet name him to play.
Would of thought if he was going to play they'd keep it quiet.

Would love for Addison to play.
Imagine Ward, Picken, Reid, Wood and Addison, all hard as nails, smashing in to the opposition players.

Slight fracture has to prove that ball handling and tackling is not compromised. He has a habit of getting up I would also expect him to play.
Lindsay Thomas back to the magoos to have a think about things.

Yeah heard a clip from Brad Scott say something on radio along the lines 'He trained with the main group today, so he'll be given every chance to play'

I think Harvey will play.
My guess for our final team Addison in, Reid out.

He could come in for Grant!!??
How/what do you see Grants role and is he doing it?
A couple of flashy things but is that enough?
Who'd work harder Vez or Grant regarding pressure etc?

Grant was one of only two Bulldogs player to play every minute last week - he's still working to lift his work rate, but no way Vez currently has the tank to get close to that.

The difference I see is that Grant is quick to cover the ground and explosive off the mark. Vez is neither. As per azabob's point I think it's tough to put him in the same forward line as Gia and also from a height perspective, with Hoops and Dahlhaus. Grant may need to pick up aspects of his game but he gives us another point of difference who can be a difficult match up which Vez doesn't. Don't get me wrong, I look forward to him getting his chance and hope he takes it, but it's more likely to be for someone like Hooper than Grant.

Interesting that Hall, Hudson and Minson are all playing. I wonder if Minson is merely being named.

Minson won't come into the side unless one of Hall or Hudson don't play.
